Set up

The setup of our CTI- software TAPICall with a suitable TAPI- driver from the manufacturer of the device is very easy and in most cases can also be done by a layperson. We can help you if necessary via telephone support, remote maintenance or a tutorial. You are available for support in your local area over 300 resellers / partners gladly available.

1. Windows & Outlook

You need a Windows-PC (32/64 bit) with Microsoft Outlook as 32-Bit version. All Outlook- versions are supported:

  • Outlook 2010 32-Bit
  • Outlook 2013 32-Bit
  • Outlook 2016 32-Bit
  • Outlook 2019 32-Bit
  • Office 365 32-Bit
  • Office 2021 32-Bit

If you have Outlook / Office installed in 64-Bit, this is not a problem: Please note these instructions.


2. TAPI driver

You need a TAPI--capable telephone or a TAPI--capable telephone system, a FRITZ! or a IP SoftPhone. Almost all telephone systems support TAPI. A list of over 750 tested Devices and drivers can be found here. The connection can be made via USB or LAN, depending on the device.

You simply install the TAPI- driver yourself. It is about as time-consuming as installing a printer driver. For USB- devices, first the USB- driver offered by the manufacturer and then the TAPI- driver must be installed. Then it should appear in the control panel under “Telephone and Modem“ after clicking on“ Advanced“ and be configured there. If you have any problems, our hotline for those interested in TAPICall- is available free of charge +49 (6422) 89800-50 with advice and action and, if necessary, remote maintenance. You can perfectly match your driver Phone.exe testing.


3. Start TAPICall

After download and the installation of TAPICall start Outlook 32-Bit, TAPICall starts automatically. You will be prompted to make the basic settings and you've already reached your goal.
